Your trust matters to us. This policy explains what information VivaBoard Tickets collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect only what we need to run events well, we never sell your data, and organizers only see what's required to host you.
We collect information you give us directly: your name, email address, phone number, and institution when you create an account; the answers you submit on event registration forms; organizer application details; and any messages you send to support.
We also collect information automatically when you use the Service, such as device and browser type, pages visited, approximate location derived from your IP address, and check-in scan records for tickets you hold. Payment card details are processed by our payment providers and never stored on VivaBoard servers.
We use the information we collect to:
When you register for an event, the organizer of that event receives your name, contact details, and your answers to their registration form so they can run the event. Organizers are required to use this information only for the event you registered for.
We share limited data with service providers who help us operate the platform — payment processors, email and SMS delivery providers, and cloud hosting. These providers act under contract and may not use your data for their own purposes. We do not sell your personal information, and we never share it with advertisers.
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in, remember your cart, and protect against cross-site request forgery. We use a small number of first-party analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used in aggregate. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the Service from working.
We keep account and order records for as long as your account is active and as required for legal, tax, and audit purposes. Registration answers are retained so long as the associated event and order records exist. When data is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
We protect your data with encryption in transit, hashed and signed ticket codes, role-based access controls, and least-privilege access for our staff. No system is perfectly secure — if we learn of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update most account details directly from your account page, and unsubscribe links are included in non-essential emails.
To exercise any other right, email privacy@events.vivaboard.app from the address on your account. We respond to verified requests within 30 days. If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
We may update this policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced by email or an in-product notice before they take effect, and the "last updated" date above will always reflect the current version. For any privacy question, contact privacy@events.vivaboard.app.
